West Penn police, firefighters and fire police responded to a two vehicle accident Monday afternoon involving a tan Toyota Corolla and a Volkswagen Jetta near the intersection of state routes 443 and 309. Reportedly the driver of the Toyota, Mark Mondoro from New Jersey, drove straight in a turning lane which resulted in the collision with Kelly McKlueen who was driving her Volkswagen north. KcKlueen reportedly had a child with her as well. No serious injuries were reported. Township police officer Dale Osenbach stated citations are pending for Mondoro.
