The Allentown enforcement office of the state liquor control board conducted compliance checks on Saturday, April 30, at establishments in Tremont and Pine Grove areas of Schuylkill County. The checks were conducted during the period of 6:30 and 9:40 p.m.

The age compliance check detail checked a total of five licensed establishments. One of the five was found to be "non-compliant." Non-compliant is defined as a licensed establishment that sold alcoholic beverages to underage individuals trained and supervised by the state police, bureau of liquor control enforcement.The fourt establishments that were in compliance were identified as Estate of Eugene S. Perkins, Esther J. Wolff, executrix, at 100 W. Main St., Randazzo's Pizza & Restaurant Inc., 18 E. Main St., and E.L. Raris Inc., trading as Behm's Family Restaurant, 37 Branch St., all of Tremont; and O'Neal's Tavern, LLC, trading as O'Neals Pub, 112 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove.
