The operator of a all terrain vehicle (ATV) that crashed on Sunday in Luzerne County, has died of injuries sustained in the crash.

Michael Benyo, 21, of Milnesville, died at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, at 3:30 p.m. Monday. Lehigh County Coroner Scott M. Grim said Benyo died of multiple traumatic injuries.State police at Hazleton said Benyo was operating an ATV along Lattimer Road in Hazle Township about 6:43 p.m. Sunday when he lost control and crashed into a utility pole.
