Four area residents were among 29 who were arraigned Monday in the office of District Attorney James P. Goodman in the Schuylkill County courthouse on criminal charges and all entered pleas of not guilty and requested jury trials. They were:

Mel Scott Gerber, 38, of 117 Lombard St., Tamaqua, charged with theft of a compressor from Diversified Technology Company, 109 Lakeside Avenue,. Delano Township, and criminal mischief to property. Gerber was cited by Trooper Thomas Cuff.Tyler Brent Tyson, 19, of 368 Archery Club Road, New Ringgold, faces the same charges as Gerber by Trooper Thomas Cuff, theft and criminal mischief committed at the tech site.Dmitriy Partin, 21, of 106 River Road, Tamaqua, charged with criminal attempt to commit theft from motor vehicle on lot at Soley's Garage, 300 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold, and loitering and prowling at night and public drunkenness. Partin was cited by West Penn Township Patrolman Jason Lorah. He is also charged by Patrolman Lorah with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol and misbranding of a control substance.Partin is also charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Anthony Stanell, with DUI, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana and careless driving.Cory Michael Whitley, 118, of 4 Rose St., Tamaqua, was charged with aggravated assault on James Medvetz, robbery, criminal conspiracy, theft of vehicle owned by Elizabeth McCormick, receiving stolen property, prohibited use of offensive weapon (brass knuckles), simple assault, criminal mischief and driving while operating privileges were suspended. Whitley was cited by Tamaqua Cpl. Henry Woods.Paul Valentine Rodichok, 36, Tower City, was charged with DUI and failing to drive on right side of road. He was cited by Trooper David Yearick when stopped in Porter Township.Michael Thomas Zdiera, 19, Girardville, was charged with DUI of alcohol and drugs and failing to have a driver's license. He was cited by Butler Township Chief Edward Tarantelli.Amy Lynn Filiziani, 36, Frackville, was charged with DUI and failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic by Frackville Cpl. Marvin LIvergood.Linda Rabbitz-Confair, 41, Frackville, was charged with DUI by Cpl. LIvergood.Zachary Wayne McHenry, 20, Frackville, was charged with simple assault and recklessly endangering a juvenile, disorderly conduct and harassment. He was cited by Cpl. Livergood.Edwin James Dietrich, 50, Pine Grove, was charged with DUI and failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic by Pine Grove Cpl. William Gelgot.Jesse Jordan Aungst, Pine Grove, was charged with DUI, underage drinking, failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic, failing to drive at safe speed, careless driving and restrictions on alcoholic beverages in vehicle. Aungst was cited by Trooper David Beam on Rock Road in Washington Township.Jonathan R. Dombrowski, 23, Mahanoy City, was charged with unauthorized use of the car of Eleanor Levcertavish. He was cited by Mahanoy City Cpl. Michael Dissinger.David B. Zettick, 51, Minersville, charged with two counts of being involved in an accident striking another vehicle, failed to give information or render aid, careless driving, reckless driving and failed to carry car insurance. Bowers.John Vasil Kontogiannis, 23, Pottsville, charged with DUI of alcohol and drugs, failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic and careless driving. He was cited by Trooper Alyssa J.
