Five Palmerton Boy Scouts became Eagle Scouts during a Family Night and Eagle Court of Honor in the Aquashicola Fire Hall. More than 100 people attended the ceremony. Konrad Goworowski, George Kost Jr., Anthony Pastier, C. Franklin Shipman, and Peter Turner, all Palmerton High School students with long scouting tenure, were pinned by Scoutmaster John Faust. Turner received his Eagle pin from former Scoutmaster Art Larvey.
