Two persons were injured in a two vehicle crash that occurred about 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 22, along SR61, in New Castle Township, Schuylkill County. State police at Frackville reported on the crash and also one on Intestate 81.

Troopers said Joshua A. Rosato, 24, of McAdoo, and John E. Callaway III, 17, of Schuylkill Haven, were both northbound. Callaway slowed down for traffic ahead of him and his 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 truck was struck in the rear by Rosato's 2010 Ford E150 van.Two passengers with Rostao, Ryan J. Richardson, 26, of West Hazleton, and Eleanor Warmkesser, 59, of Shenandoah, were injured and taken to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., Pottsville.Rosato, Callaway and his passenger, John E. Callaway Jr. , Schuylkill Haven, were all not injured.Rosato was cited for careless driving, troopers said.The crash along I81 occurred about 7:58 a.m. on Sunday, April 24, in Delano Township. Troopers said Kritsana Srisonchai, 36, of Greensboro, N.C., was operating a 2006 Jeep Commander and traveling southbound in a construction zone. The Jeep left the road and traveled into the right lane, which was closed, and struck a milled down part of the road damaging the undercarriage.Srisonchai was not injured.
