Lehighton man jailed for break-in

A Lehighton man was jailed on Monday, April 25, for burglary and related counts.

Borough police said Ryan T. Heiser, 29, of 415 N. Fourth St., was arrested for an incident that occurred at 413 N. Fourth St., at about 6:45 p.m.In addition to burglary he was also charged with criminal trespass (breaking into a structure), and theft. He was arraigned before duty District Judge Casimir Kosciolek, of Lansford, and committed to the county prison in Nesquehoning, after failing to post $2,500 straight cash bail.A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 4, police noted.
