A one-vehicle crash in Carbon County led to the driver facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI).

State police at Lehighton said Donna Marie Demarco, 47, of Jim Thorpe, was involved in a crash on Behrens Road at the Bear Creek Lake estates in Penn Forest Township, on Wednesday, April 13, no time given.Troopers said she was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. She was then transported to the Palmerton hospital for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers said.
