Weissport Recreation Committee, formerly Concerned Citizens of Weissport, held its annual Easter egg hunt on Sunday. The event was rescheduled from Saturday due to the rain.

Areas of the park were muddy from Saturday's rain, but that didn't stop the children from dropping down on their knees to pick up eggs. Most of the children taking part in the hunt won several prizes, as the committee had prepared for a large number of participants.The hunt has been taking place in Weissport for 10 years.The event was coordinated by Tammy Solt, Linda Schoenberger, Dennis Moser and Lynette Leslie.
