A vehicle stop by Pocono Mountain Regional police led to the arrest of the driver on a fugitive from justice warrant.

Police said a vehicle was stopped about 12:28 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, along SR196 in Mt. Pocono for a vehicle code violation.The front seat passenger was identified as Mark Scone Jr., 22, of Moscow, Lackawanna County. A further investigation revealed Scone had a bench warrant for his arrest issued out of Lackawanna County for failure to appear for a preliminary hearing for bad checks.He was taken into custody and placed in the county prison in Snydersville pending his return to Lackawanna County.
