As part of his Eagle Scout project, Tyler McGeehan, a junior at Jim Thorpe Area High School, is collecting the names of the high school's graduates who have gone on to serve in any branch of the United States Armed Forces. Focus will be on the soldiers who graduated from JTAHS from its inception in 1955 through the present.
McGeehan is constructing a display case to showcase those names and honor the area soldiers. The case will hang in the commons area of the high school.These soldiers or their family members can forward the first and last name of the soldier, the branch of the military in which they served, and the year they graduated from the high school, to McGeehan at
