Arrests reported

State police at the Lehighton barracks reported on the following arrests.

On Sunday, April 17, about 7 p.m. at 170 Horseshoe Lane, East Penn Township, Lehighton, troopers investigated a reported harassment incident. As a result troopers said Thomas A. Weiss, 42, of Lehighton, was charged with harassment after Robert Eckhart, 52, of Lehighton, said Weiss had called him and threatened that he would physically harm him on multiple occasions for no apparent reason.On Monday, April 18, about 1 a.m. troopers went to E. Highpoint Drive, in Franklin Township, Carbon County, where Kathleen Munch and George E. Gschwind, reside together. The two engaged in a verbal argument that turned physical when Gschwind allegedly pushed Munch into a wall. Gschwind was charged with harassment.On April 15 at about 9:29 p.m., troopers conducted a traffic stop along SR209 at Gilbert Road, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, for a suspicious vehicle involved in a previous incident.During the stop is was discovered that Tyler Joseph Youngkin, 18, of Kunkletown, had consumed alcohol. He was cited for underage drinking, troopers said.
