Nine area residents among 57 arraigned by criminal counts

Nine area residents were among 57 who were arraigned Monday morning in the office of District Attorney James P. Goodman at the Schuylkill County courthouse on criminal charges and all entered pleas of not guilty and requested jury trials. They were:

Travis Wieser, 32, of 8 Stone Creek, Jim Thorpe R. 3, charged by Coaldale Chief Timothy Delaney, with unauthorized use of automobile of Allen Zavisky, Coaldale, and driving while operating privileges were suspended.Andrea M. Startzel, 30, of 35 W. Union St., Tamaqua, charged by Ryan Township Patrolman Adam Sinton, with possession of drug paraphernalia, involved in accident on Ball Diamond Road, fradulent use of registration plate and duty to give information and render aid following accident.Brian Keith Startzel, 42, of 35 W. Union St., Tamaqua, charged by Trooper Todd W. Heinz with criminal tresspass by entering and remaining in a building, loitering and prowling at night, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.Ricky C. Nelson, 33, of 103 N. Lehigh St., Tamaqua, charged by RushTownship Patrolman Adam Sinton, with aggravated assault on Cathy Russell, Barnesville, discharged a .38-calibre pistol in an occupied structure, terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, resisting arrest and harassment.Brandon Scott Hosier, 27, Valley Street, New Philadelphia, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman MIchael Hobbs, with access device fraud by unauthorized use, theft and receiving stolen property and charged by Tamaqua Patroman Jeffrey Wainwright, with defiant trespass.Joseph M. Zarsky, 27, of 337 W. Blaine St., McAdoo, charged by Mahanoy City Patrolman Jonathan McHugh, with burglary of Mahanoy Market, criminal trespass by breaking into the building, theft of $3,000 in cash and defiant trespass.Andrew John Bobey Jr., 47, of 14 N. Hancock St., McAdoo, charged by McAdoo Patrolman Joseph David, with driving under influence (DUI) of alcohol.Preston M. Failing, 23, of 510 N. Yourey, with poossession of a CS, possession of a small amount, possession of drug paraphernalia and misbranding a controlled substance.Samuel Carlen Fourman, 26, Lebanon, charged by Trooper Thomas Robin with acquiring a controlled substance by misrepresentation and forgery of a prescription for drugs.Scott Charles Glunz, 34, Pottsville, charged by Pottsville Patrolman Brian J. Reno, with four counts each of aggravated and simple assault on police officers, recklessly endangerng another person, two counts of criminal mischief, reckless driving, failing to have driver's license and four counts of stop sign violation. The report to court states four police officers were injured performing their duty and $5,000 in damage was caused to a police car.Jason Allen Bender, 32, Bechtelsvile, charged by Saint Clair Patrolman Martin H.
