Two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests were reported by Pocono Mountain Regional police.

On Friday, April 15, about 11:50 p.m. officers stopped a vehicle along SR423 in Coolbaugh Township for a vehicle code violation. The driver was identified as Todd Simms, 52, of Tobyhanna. Simms was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests.He was transported to the Pocono Medical Center (PMC), East Stroudsburg, for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, police said.On Saturday, April 16, about 1:59 a.m. officers stopped a vehicle along SR196 in Mt. Pocono, for a vehicle code violation. The driver was identified as Sherlon Owens, 54, of Tobyhanna. He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests.He was transported to PMC for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, police said.
