A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident about 9:25 p.m. on Sunday, April 17.

State police at Frackville siad Christopher Leach, 44, of Frackville was stopped at the time and date stated along SR924, at the Gilberton ramp, in Gilberton, for speeding. He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests.He was taken to the barracks for a breath test which showed him over the legal limit of .08 percent. He will be charged with DUI and summary traffic offense, troopers added.
