State police at Frackville are investigating a burglary at a Schuylkill County residence. Troopers also reported on a criminal mischief incident.

The break-in occurred at the home of John L. Blashock, 40, of 11 Nolania Road, in Barnesville, Ryan Township. Unknown persons entered the home through a side door. Removed was a prepaid credit card and two prescription pain medicines - percocet and fentanol. Troopers said the credit card was later used at a ATM.The break-in occurred sometime between April 5 and 8.The criminal mischief incident was reported by Zack Kulp, 31, of New Ringgold. He reported that someone approached his property in the 1500 block of Chestnut Road, in East Brunswick Township, and damaged is parked 2005 Jeep. A large rock was thrown through the rear window. The incident occurred sometime between April 10 at 7 p.m. and April 11 at 2 p.m.Anyone with information on either incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 874-5300.
