Palmerton Area Library

At 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 26, the Carbon County Environmental Center will present a program about the Animals of Pennsylvania. Kids and adults are invited to the library to see and learn about lots of live birds, rodents and snakes. The program is free, but it is recommended that interested persons call the library to register ahead of time. For more information, call (610) 826-3424.The library is still looking for volunteers. If you would like to help with Story Hour, shelve books, tutor students, decorate the windows, work in the book sale, or help with special projects, please call the library, or stop in to pick up a volunteer packet.
