Northern Lehigh Future Focus

Northern Lehigh Future Focus will be publishing a photo-book on Slatington/ Northern Lehigh High School, community sports teams, and players later this year.As this is expected to be a large undertaking, Future Focus is asking for the public's help. They are still seeking old photos or copies of photos, which they can borrow. The book will include photos from the earliest days of organized school and community sports up through the present. Especially of interest are old team and individual photos up through the 1970's. It is hoped that the finished product will be a comprehensive photo history of the area's sports teams, and be a great keepsake for all ages.However, the public's help is needed to ensure a great finished product. Please consider letting Future Focus borrow the photos to include in the book. The book will be separated by decades, and include the high school sports of football, basketball, baseball, wrestling, and so forth.Star player, exceptional team and legendary coaches' profiles will also be included, as well as photos and information on the many community baseball teams the area had in the 1930's and 1940's.Additional help is needed in research, writing and layout.
