A Schuylkill County man has been charged with assault as a result of a domestic incident.

State police at Frackville said the incident occurred on Tuesday, April 12, about 11:25 a.m. along E. Main St., Ringtown. Troopers said Courtney Moran, 21, and Jeremy Boehmer, 21, both of E. Main St., were involved in a verbal dispute that turned physical. Boehmer allegedly struck Moran on the left side of the face causing a minor injury. She refused medical treatment, troopers said.Boehmer was taken into custody and charged with simple assault and harassment. He was arraigned before a district judge and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
