Miss Sheila Eckman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Eckman, Lehighton R. 1, has been named by the Great Valley Girl Scout Council and the national organization to participate in Girl Scout Event "Steep Trails" to be held near Pasadena, Calif. She will be one of 128 scouts from 50 states and a few foreign countries participating in the program. Patrols of girls will blaze compass trails and explore extensive and varied trail systems while backpacking without adults.
