A Monroe County home was destroyed by a fast moving fire Monday morning in Ross Township. The fire was first reported just before 11 a.m. along Princess Run Road just south of Weir Mountain Road. When firefighters from Monroe and Northampton counties arrived on scene the two story wood frame single family dwelling was fully involved in flames. Due to the remote location of the scene water had to be tanked into the site. No injuries were reported in the incident.
