The Tamaqua Area School District will have a make up day for kindergarten registration for the 2011-2012 school year. The district is offering this opportunity to parents/guardians of kindergarten age children who missed the March session.The make up day will be held May 24. The services will begin at noon and will be followed by light luncheons.Upcoming services and locations will be: April 13, Tamaqua Salvation Army, 105 W. Broad St.; Community Good Friday, April 22, at Trinity United Church of Christ, 22 Lafayette St. The Good Friday service will not be followed by a luncheon.St. Jerome'sSt. Jerome's Office of Adult Formation will host a free coffee and donut session on April 17, Palm Sunday, from 9-10 a.m.New catechists are needed for the parish religious education program in the fall. The service will be followed by a coffee hour.
