Tamaqua Area Middle School Student Council members visited the second grade classes at the Tamaqua Elementary School and presented a program concerning the dangers of smoking. The program included a puppet show, the reading of the book "Smoking Stinks," and a video presentation. Council members who participated include: Nathan MacDonald, Tannar Urban, Bailey Harting, Jacob Gursky, Brianna Wittig, Kyle Weaver, Claire Frank, Olivia Morrison, Jamie Mateyak, Rachel Keich, Vanessa Solt and Tyler Resch.
