PV Senior attains rank of Eagle Scout

Scott Nevenglosky of Nesquehoning was officially received into the rank of Eagle Scout in St. Franics of Assisi Church on Saturday.

He takes great pride in the Eagle Scout project at the Lansford Baseball Complex where he repainted and replaced bleachers along with general maintenance, other repairs, and painting. It took him two summers with approximately 104 hours of service.Scott is a senior at Panther Valley High School and has been accepted at Moravian University in the Fall. He is also a member of the Brotherhood of the Order of the Arrow.Taking part in the ceremony were the Rev. Anthony Drouncheck, Head scoutmaster Joe Trimmel, assistant scoutmaster Gerry Marouchoc along with Scott's brother Adam, assistant scoutmaster Matt Ockenhouse, assistant scoutmaster Steve Homcha, and Donna Trimmel, committee chairperson of Troop 744. Mary Ann Ritenour provided the music.Members of Troop 744 took part in the program as well.
