Dave Mason at Penn's Peak on April 14

With a career spanning over 37 years, Dave Mason has truly left his mark on the music industry.

The talented performer has a concert slated next Thursday, April 14, at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe.Tickets are $22 in advance and $27 on the day of the show.Mason was a producer, a performer and a songwriter, not to mention being one of rock's great guitar players.At the early age of 18, he teamed up with Steve Winwood, Jim Capaldi and Chris Wood and formed the band Traffic.A year later Dave would pen what has become a rock and roll anthem with "Feelin' Alright." Well over 48 artists have recorded this song, but the best-known version is by Joe Cocker.Soon after this success, Dave went off on a solo career in the United States and his first album, Alone Together, struck gold and became a rock classic.
