Snerr/Decker merges with ERA One Source Realty to benefit clients seeking home of their own

While the recent merger of Snerr/Decker Real Estate with ERA One Source Realty means a new name plate at the door at 59 Harrity Road, Lehighton (next to Marzen's Hardware), you'll find the same friendly staff as before.

The office is located near the Pohopoco bridge under construction near the Pa. Turnpike exchange. The office is open. It's that friendliness and 84 years of combined experience which sets this office apart from other real estate office in the area. This alliance between the two organizations creates a partnership that benefits both of them. The merger gives the former Snerr/Decker Real Estate office access to cutting edge tools, technology and world wide ERA reach - while ERA One Source Realty will tap the Carbon County region for more presense in the northeast Pennsylvania market."It's true," said Susie Decker, associate broker. "You'll see the same friendly faces as before. We are the same people that have always been here, but now we have an international reach."Decker said that folks who want to purchase a home can find homes in the area from a low price of $23,000 for a starter home to a lovely four bedroom home with all the amenities and beautiful landscaping for $399,000 and there are many homes in between those prices for sale to fit any budget."We are part of the multi-list so we can sell any house that is for sale," said Decker. "We enjoy helping people find a home of their own."Its that desire to help people find an affordable home that motivates the staff to work so closely together."We mesh as a group," said Debbie Shuryn, secretary. "We have worked together so well for so long that we're like family."Decker added that along with single homes, they also have double homes and some commercial property and land for sale.Decker said the staff of ERA One Source Realty welcomes everyone to come in and see the photographs of homes for sale posted on the wall. "We welcome visitors," she added."We have houses for sale to fit every budget," said Lisa Sawyer, agent.Decker purchased ERA Pocono Resorts Realty in 1992, with partner, Carolyn Snerr and renamed the business Snerr/Decker Real Estate. Carolyn retired in 1995 and Susan remained the broker/owner ever since."I'm thrilled to be returning to ERA because I always felt the franchise had a lot to offer," said Decker. "We now have so much more exposure in the marketplace and the partnership with ERA One Source Realty allows us to apply programs that will give our clients added value when selling or buying through our company. I also am elated to have a respected broker like Sunita Arora at the helm of our ERA association."Sunita Arora, owner/broker of ERA One Source Realty added, "It is a pleasure to have an office with a reputation for excellent customer service and a history of exemplary professional practices become part of our company. We expect this merger to benefit the Carbon County real estate market by continuing the Snerr/Decker philosophy while introducing new methods to streamline the process of buying or selling a property."ERA One Source Realty is a company that consists of eight offices with 140 agents and serves nearly a dozen counties in the NEPA region.
