State police at Lehighton reported on several thefts and other incidents.
Troopers said five storm grates were taken from the intersection of Pine and Lime streets in Bowmanstown sometime between March 25-28. The grates are valued at $1,625.The state registration plate from the 1998 Hyundai Elantra of Christopher T. O'Rourke, 20, of Kresgeville, was stolen while it was parked at Red Fox Court in Polk Township, Monroe County. The plate, HJF9285, was taken sometime between March 29-31.An Apple Iphone 4, valued at $400 and $30 in U.S. currency was stolen from the locker of a 16-year-old male from Palmerton at the Pamlerton High School in Lower Towamensing Township, sometime betwen 3 and 4:30 p.m. on March 30.A Kresgeville resident reported their 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse had damages done to it while parked at HCR1 Box 12A, SR209 in Polk Township. The damages included scratches on the paint, damage to mirrors, rear tail lights and rear spoiler. The incident occurred sometime between 1 and 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 2.Frederic C. Holle, 65, of Tier 1, Dueblers Trailer Park, Gilbert, Polk Township, noticed about 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 1, that someone placed nails by the tires of his truck. He saw the nails prior to moving the vehicle. The nails were placed sometime between midnight and the time Holle saw them, troopers said.Anyone with information on any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at (610) 377-4270.
