Linda Yulanavage, 41, has been elected "Tamaqua's Citizen of the Year" today by a committee of former recipients of the award. She becomes the 27th person to be so honored by the Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce. An outstanding businesswoman and active community leader, she moved to Tamaqua in 1973 when her husband, Carl, was transferred to the Hometown plant of Air Products. She owns and operates Sweet Treats, which deals in supplies for candy-making and other crafts, and Party People, a retail party supply company.
