Auditions for the spring 2011 production of the Carbon Schuylkill Community Theater are being held at the Studio, 255-257 East Ridge St. in Lansford on Tuesday, April 5 from 6:30-9 p.m.

The spring production is a series of six 10-minute plays slated for public performance on the evenings of May 13 and May 14 in Jim Thorpe.The audition call is for directors, actors, stage crew, and others interested in helping with various tasks in support of the production.Rehearsals will be held once per week with half of the plays being rehearsed on Tuesday evenings between 6:30-9 p.m., and the remaining plays being rehearsed on Thursday evenings between 7:30-9 p.m.Rehearsal time for each play will be 30 to 45 minutes.Additional information is available at
