They were married Aug. 3, 1996.Bryan Bretzius, 30 Wiggan St., New Philadelphia, was granted a divorce from Diane Bretzius, 138 Water St., New Philadelphia. They were married May 16, 2002.Tara Gates, 365 Mountain Road, New Ringgold, was granted a divorce from Darren Gates, 1318 Long Run Road, Friedensburg. They were married Sept. 28, 2002.Kazumi McCabe was granted a divorce from Dennis J. McCabe, both of Schuylkill Haven. They were married April 11, 1998.Theresa Fonash, Orwigsburg, was granted a divorce from Jeffrey Knauf, Auburn. They were married Nov. 10, 2003.Joseph G. Petrulich was granted a divorce from Wendy Petrulich, both of Pottsville. They were married Sept. 29, 1979.Amy L. Bane, New Cumberland, was granted a divorce from Daniel E. Bane, Frackville. They were married Jan. 11, 2003.Withdraw appealsJudge John E. Domalakes held hearings on three summary appeals from convictions before district justices and ruled as follows:Debra M. Whah, 46, of 16 E. Amin Street, Quakake, Rush Township, changed her mind and entered a guilty plea to a charge of driving while her license was under suspension. The judge fined her $25 plus $50 costs. She was cited by Mahanoy City Patrolman John C. Kaczmarczyk.Patrick Heaney, 25, Harrsisburg, also pleaded guilty to a charge of exceeding the speed limit on Interstate 81 in New Castle Township and was fined $42.50 plus $50 costs.Paul F. Zimmerman, 37, Pottsville, entered a guilty plea to a charge of driving under suspension and was fined $500 plus $50 costs. He was stopped on SR183 in Cressona last October.Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin accepted the guilty plea of Samuel J. Tuckett, 21 Bolichs Road, Andreas, West Penn Township, to a charge of disordelry conduct and fined him $100.Bail hearingsJudge Charles M. Miller held bail hearings and handed down orders as follows:Angelo Maldonado, 21, of 344 Arlington St., Tamaqua, had a bench warrant lifted and bail reinstated and must reside at the Tamaqua address and not relocate unless receives permission from District Attorney James P. Goodman. Also, he is not permitted to possess nor consume alcoholic beverages or controlled substance, cannot travel outside the state without permission and shall secure gainful employment in 30 days.Maldonado was cited by Coaldale Patrolman Charles Blesse, with possession of drug paraphernalia and was placed in the Accelerated Rehabilative Disposition (ARD) probation program in January 2010 which is reserved for first offenders to allow them to work off the criminal charges but it revoked in June 2010.Jason Oliver Bivins, 29, Shillington, Berks County, had his bail modified to $5,000 straight bail on each of two cases. He is permitted to reside with Jonathan Bivins, 835 W. Second Ave., Parksburg, and cannot travel out of the state without permission from the district attorney and submit to random tests by the adult probation department.Bivins was charged by Trooper James Cuttitta with recklessly endangering tenants in the Pottsville Housing Development and charged by Trooper John Sieboda with assaulting a Minesville man.Draws state timeMax Walter Walls, 28, Pottsville, pleaded guilty to a charge of cirminal conspiracy to burglarize the Roma Pizza Shop, West Market Street, Pottsville, and was sentenced by Judge Jacquelin Russell to serve one to two years in a state correctional institution and make restitution of $910 to the pizza shop. He was charged by Patrolman James Englert, with removing an air conditioner to gain entrance into the shopChristine M. Prebish, 20, Shenandoah, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and was placed on probation 12 months by Judge Russell and fined $150. She was cited by the District Attorney's Drug Task Force.
