Egg huntSt. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, Lansford, will hold its annual Easter egg hunt on Sunday, April 16, beginning at noon. The event will be sponsored by Catholic Charities. Registration is required.OLOAA registrationOur Lady of the Angels Academy, Lansford, is accepting registrations for the 2011-2012 school year. Parents can register their child(ren) Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the school office, or can call (570) 645-7170/7101 to arrange an appointment.Children registering must be 5 years old by Oct. 15 for kindergarten or 6 years old by the same date for first grade.Parents will be required to show a birth certificate, baptismal certificate and immunization records upon registering their child. A registration fee will also be needed.Summit HillChurch councilThe church council of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Summit Hill, will meet on Tuesday, April 12, at 7 p.m. in the social hall of the church. Anyone interested in serving on the council is asked to attend this session.St. Paul LutheranThe schedule for St. Paul Lutheran Church, Summit Hill, for Sunday, April 3, is as follows:Sunday school will be held at 9 a.m., followed by the worship service at 10:30. The worship and music committee will meet immediately following the worship service and the Confirmation class will meet at 6:30 p.m.On Wednesday, April 6, the Gathering of Churches Lenten service will be held at the Hope of Christ Presbyterian Church.Soup and sandwiches will be served at 6:15 p.m., followed by the worship at 7 o'clock.Church members will clean the church on Saturday, April 9, beginning at 10 a.m. Volunteers are needed.Choir rehearsalSt. Joseph Catholic Church Choir, Summit Hill, will rehearse on Thursday, March 3, at 7 p.m. Bob Ames, director, will be in charge.Egg huntThe annual Easter egg hunt sponsored by St. Joseph Catholic Church, Summit Hill, will be held on Easter Sunday, April 24, after the 11 a.m. Mass. It will take place on the grounds behind the church.The church is accepting donation of gifts, candy and baskets to give to the children.The age brackets for the hunt include: birth to 3, 3-6, 7-0 and 10-and-up.Jim and Nancy Filer are organizing the event.
