Approval of a three-way jointure between the school districts of Mauch Chunk, East Mauch Chunk, and Penn Forest Township was unanimously passed at a meeting of the Mauch Chunk Parent-Teachers' Association, which met in the junior-senior high school. The jointure issue will be decided finally on April 3 when representatives of the three school districts meet in the Second Ward.
