Casey Wagner, daughter of Paul and Laura Wagner of Quakake, has been named to the Dean's List for the Fall semester at the University of South Florida-Tampa. A junior students majoring in Health and Physical Education, she earned a 4.0 grade point average.

A member of the university's field and track team, Wagner competed in her first outdoor event of the season at the Bulls Invitational in March. Fourteen teams particiated in the event. Wagner took first pace in the javelin throw, hitting the 156' 1" mark. The distance was Wagner's personal best and was the second university record broken that day. It also set a Big East qualifying mark.
