A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred on Monday, March 21, along Hemlock Drive at Green Road, in Tobyhanna.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said they stopped Ellis Rodriguez, 53, of Tobyhanna, about 11:51 p.m. for traffic violation. He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was then taken to the Pocono Medical Center, East Stroudsburg, for a blood test.The DUI is pending the test results.
