'Hello Dolly!' comes to the Pleasant Valley High School stage
Pleasant Valley High School will present the musical comedy, "Hello Dolly!", March 25-27, under the direction of Dan and Marcie Mulligan, and the orchestral direction of John DeVivo
"Hello Dolly!" is the story of Mrs. Dolly Levi, played by Nicole Chouljian, and her efforts to match up various couples around town, including herself to the well-known half-a-millionaire, Horace Vandergelder, played by Tommy Byrne. Dolly succeeds in matching up the young and beautiful widow, Irene Molloy (Miranda Houchins) with Vandergelder's head clerk, Cornelius Hackl (Marc Anthony Lewis); Cornelius' assistant, Barnaby Tucker (Adam Parham), with Mrs. Molloy's assistant, Minnie Fay (Sarah Schillinger); and the struggling artist, Ambrose Kemper (Ricky Vence), with Mr. Vandergelder's weeping niece, Ermengarde (Mariel McAllister).
