Care Net of Tamaqua, an organization providing services to pregnant women, plans to open an office in Tamaqua, at 223 E. Broad St.

The center will provide life-affirming guidance, counseling, prenatal classes, parenting classes and much more to area women and families.The organization will sponsor a Walk For Life on April 2, beginning at 1 p.m. The route will begin at Bethany Evangelical Congregational Church, then head west on Broad Street to Odd Fellows Cemetery.
