Event coordinators Jessica Kutza, left, and her mother, Mary Ann Dulaney, both of Coaldale, take inventory of some of the many ACS Chinese Auction prizes for their 12th Annual Chinese Auction and fundraising event to be held Sunday at the Lakeside Ballroom in Barnesville, Rt. 54. Doors open at noon and the auction drawing starts at 3 p.m. More than 500 items will be available. There are many new types of prizes this year, such as Phillies tickets, Penn State and Yuengling items, Pocono 500, Longaberger baskets, as well as many local gift certificates. Entertainment will also be provided by Cody Scott and Polka Joe. Donations are still being accepted. This auction routinely raises thousands of dollars for the American Cancer Society.
