Two persons were hurt in a one-vehicle crash March 18 at 12:04 a.m. on Adamsdale Road in North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County, according to state police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks.

Police said John Archbald, 23, of Schuylkill Haven, the driver, and Jessica Ulrich, 24, of New Ringgold, both suffered minor injuries. Ulrich was transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center, Pottsville, by the Orwigsburg ambulance.Police said Archbald was driving a 1999 Plymouth Breeze west on Adamsdale Road when it traveled off the road onto the north berm. When the driver attempted to correct the vehicle, he lost control of it, causing it to travel across the eastbound lane and enter the south berm where it impacted a tree. After the impact, the vehicle was pushed back about two feet, coming to rest along the south berm.Police said Archbald was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and was placed under arrest and transported to the hospital for a blood-alcohol test.The vehicle was severely damaged and required towing from the scene.
