Six people were sentenced in Carbon County Court on Thursday by Judge Steven R. Serfass.

Karla Attaway Allison, 29, of 1304 Hot House Rd., Hayesville, N.C., was sentenced to 254 days to one day less than 24 months in the county jail for criminal conspiracy/receiving stolen property. She was given credit for 254 days served. The sentence runs concurrently with a one imposed by Schuylkill County Court.Allison was also sentenced to one year of probation, to be served concurrently with the conspiracy/receiving stolen property sentence, on an access device fraud charge. Her co-conspirator in that case, Jeffrey Vandegejuchte, was sentenced in February.Allison was arrested along state Route 534 by Kidder Township police on June 6, 2010. She had in her possession a stolen 2006 Passat owned by Daniel McKeon.Zachary P. Baker, 27, of 33 Kline St., Weatherly, was sentenced to 90 days to five years, effective 9 a.m. April 6, and his license was suspended for 90 days. Baker was charged with possession of a controlled substance after he was arrested by Beaver Meadows police after a traffic stop on Berwick Street, Beaver Meadows, on June 19, 2010.Christian Bennett, 20, of 215 Rockport Road, Weatherly, was sentenced to two years of probation for simple assault. His sentence will run consecutive to one for conspiracy/burglary, for which he was sentenced to 9-18 months. He was given credit for 192 days served and placed on one year of probation.The assault charged stemmed from an incident that occurred on Aug. 29, 2010 at 206 Carbon St. The victim was a Jacelyn Tiglio. He was arrested for conspiracy/burglary on March 24, 2009, by Weatherly police at 205 Eurana Ave. He took $7,000 in U.S. currency, 20 bottles of whiskey and various items of jewelry. The victims were Peggy and Greg Skofnicki.Frank W. Dandrea, 23, of 924 North St., Weatherly, was sentenced to 90 days to 60 months on a DUI charges. He was given credit for 196 days served and his license was suspended for 18 months.Dandrea was arrested on Jan. 8, 2010 along Broad Street in Beaver Meadows. Tests showed the presence of a controlled substance in his system.John William McDonnell, 43, of Box 177, Lake Harmony, was sentenced to five days to six months on a DUI charge. He was given credit for 10 days served and his license was suspended for one year.McDonnell was arrested on March 27, 2010 along state route 534 by Kidder Township police. Blood tests revealed a blood-alcohol level of 0.11 percent.
