A 73-year-old Kunkletown man is dead following a skiing accident he sustained earlier this month at Blue Mountain Ski Area in Lower Towamensing Township.

Brian Lock, of 165 Douglas Lane, died on Saturday at St. Luke's, Fountain Hill. He was pronounced dead at 1:30 a.m. by Lehigh County Coroner Scott Grim.Contacted this morning, Grim told the TIMES NEWS the cause of death is attributed to a head injury Lock sustained from a skiing incident that occurred at about 12:15 p.m. March 4.At that time, Grim said Lock struck a tree while skiing. Grim said he ruled the manner of death accidental.
