The body of a Carbon County man, reported missing on March 11, was found on Friday, March 18, about 4:58 p.m.

State police at Lehighton said the body of Joseph Emmet Danner Sr., 61, of Palmerton, was found near rock formations south of Fireline Road, west of Golf Road, in Lower Towamensing Township.Numerous searches of the area were conducted by air and ground units over several days since Danner was reported missing.Troopers said no suspicious circumstances or foul play is suspected. The cause and manner of death has yet to be determined.An autopsy was scheduled for today at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, troopers said.
