Kemper Ritchie, 42, of 275 Cold Run Road, New Ringgold, was committed to the Schuylkill County Prison, Pottsville, on March 16 after violating a protection from abuse order.

Police said he violated the court order at 9 p.m. at 277 Cold Run Road, East Brunswick Township, by harassing his mother, Linda Ritchie, by cursing and yelling at her while on her property.Following arraignment, he was jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.
