Nora Tappan of Lehighton has been named to the dean's list at Penn College of Technology of Williamsport with a GPA of 3.5. She is the daughter of Tim and Ellen Tappan.

She is taking online classes toward a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene.Nora is a 2007 graduate of Lehighton Area High School District, attended Lehigh Carbon Community College and then earned her dental hygiene license at Northampton Community College in 2009.Nora has been employed at Dr. William F. Tinsley,

D.M.D. since 2007 and is also currently employed as a dental hygienist at Dr. Clark C. Hawk
