It took firefighters from three counties several hours to quell a fire at Mama's Pizza & Pasta in Walnutport late Saturday night. The fire was first discovered at 10 p.m. sending fire companies from Northampton, Lehigh and Carbon counties to the scene. The shop is located along SR946 just east of SR248 in Berlinsville and has long been a favorite eatery in the area. One firefighter believed the fire started in the duct work and spread.
