A new addiction recovery support group has started at the First United Methodist Church in Tamaqua. The addiction recovery program is held every Monday at 7 p.m. and located at 124 W. Broad St. The free "Jesus in the Steps, From Addiction to Recovery" course is a recovery and group support program designed at helping anyone struggling with any form of addiction, such as smoking, sex, drugs, alcohol, sugar, chocolate and anything else. The program will feature Biblical teaching that will help integrate Christian faith into recovery. More information is available by calling (570) 668-3653.
