A slushy Monroe County road has been blamed for a one vehicle crash that occurred about 11:11 a.m. on Monday, March 7, along SR115, in thea rea of Dixon Miller recreation area.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said Christopher Sprague, 37, of Effort, was northbound when he encountered the slushy road surface which caused him to lose control. His vehicle left the road and struck a tree.Sprague sustained a minor injury but declined medical attention, police said. His vehicle had to be towed from the scene.State police at Fern Ridge assisted at the scene.
