With its contents of $8,000 in merchandise missing, the truck which was hijacked from two drivers for the B. and H. Transfer Co. of Lehighton, on the Lehigh Gap-Bath Road at 3:30 a.m. yesterday, was found abandoned last night at Pittston, midway between Wilkes-Barre and Scranton. State police said the entire contents of silk hosiery, shirts, blouses, and lace, were missing. The truck, driven by Earl Miller, was en route to New York City when hijacked.
