Jim Thorpe Touchdown Club will hold its monthly meeting Monday, March 14 at 6 p.m. in the commons area of the Jim Thorpe Area High School. All parents of seventh and eighth grade, junior high and high school football players are invited to participate. The Touchdown Club is the fundraising club for the football program. This year, the Scouts from troops in Jim Thorpe, Nesquehoning, Lansford, Summit Hill, and Albrightsville, will be attending Sunday services at St. John's Lutheran Church, South Ave. The ecumenical service will begin at 10:30 a.m. All Scouts in their uniforms will process into church together.Captive FreeThe Jim Thorpe Ministerium is sponsoring Captive Free on Sunday, March 13, at 6 p.m. The program will be presented in St. John's Lutheran Church, North Street.
