Theft incidents

State police at Fern Ridge reported on three theft incidents probed by troopers.

Troopers said the license plate from the 1999 Pontiac Montana of Saundra Lanay Woods, 51, of Albrightsville, was stolen while parked in a lot at the Kinsley's Shoprite in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. The plate was taken sometime between 2 and 4:15 p.m. on March 3. Troopers believe the plate was taken by a person in a green pickup truck that has brown trim and two different types of wheels.Another license plate was reported stolen. Michael Keegan, 49, of Long Pond, reported the plate removed from his vehicle while parked at the Mount Effort Service Station, located along SR115 and State Road, in Chestnuthill Township. The incident occurred sometime between Feb. 25 and March 2.Troopers said someone removed a Vertical 18-speed mountain bicycle from behind My Family Doctor office in the West End Plaza, in Chestnuthill Township. The bike is maroon and silver, mounted with shocks.The rear wheel on the bike was from a 21-speed bicycle and had two extra gears. The incident occurred sometime between 12:20 and 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 5.Anyone with information concerning any of these incidents is asked to call troopers at (570) 646-2271.
