A Slatington driver was cited after a crash that occurred about 10 a.m. on Feb. 26, along SR100 at George Road, in Lowhill Township, Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said Lynn Kovalchik was driving a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee southbound when she attempted to turn right onto George Road. Troopers said she was going too fast and her Jeep slid on the gravel as she made the turn. The Jeep slid across George Road where the front end struck an embankment causing major damage.Kovalchik was not injured. She was cited for driving a vehicle at an (un) safe speed.
